Women’s Golf Travels to Arkansas for The Blessings Collegiate


PULLMAN, Wash. (September 28, 2025) – Washington State Women’s Golf travels to Fayetteville, Ark. for The Blessings Collegiate three-day tournament.
 
The Course and Tournament Format
The tournament will be held at the Blessings Golf Club.
 
The course will play as a par-72 at 6,422 yards.

Teams will play 18 holes Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. WSU will tee off on No. 10 at 8:15 a.m. (PT) Monday before starting Tuesday at No. 1 at 7:!5 a.m. (PT).

In addition to Washington State and hosts eighth-ranked Arkansas, BYU, Kansas State, No. 21 Kent State, Louisville, Maryland, No. 15 Mississippi State, Missouri and UNC Greensboro make up the 10-team field.

Last Time Out

Washington State Women’s Golf freshman Kaitlyn Helm tied for third at the Badger Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin last week. The freshman from Phoenix capped her week with an even-par 72 to finish the 54-hole tournament at seven-under (209). Helm’s mark of seven-under tied for the fourth-best 54-hole mark in program history while her score of 209 tied for the fifth-best 54-hole score in program history. Helm tied for the second-best round in program history with an opening-round 66, posted a second-round 71 and used five birdies to record a final round 72, finishing two strokes back of the winner. Sophomore Grace Rubelsky closed her tournament with a final-round 73 to tie for 28th and senior Hannah Harrison posted a three-over 75 to tie for 35th. WSU moved up one spot on the final day to finish fifth out of the 14 competing teams, finishing ahead of Iowa and host Wisconsin.

 

Cougars Close Out Opening Week in New Mexico

Washington State Women’s Golf closed out play at the season-opening Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational hosted by the University of New Mexico September 9. Junior Alice Johansson paced the Cougs tying for 11th at three-over after posting a final-round 74 while sophomore Agnes Brink closed her tournament at nine-over.
