STANFORD, Calif. — Following its fifth top five finish – and its first individual title winner – of the 2025-26 campaign, No. 18 Stanford men’s golf is back in action this week for its second trip to the ACC Men’s Golf Championships from April 23-27. Stanford opens the first round of stroke play on Thursday, April 23 from Shark’s Tooth Golf Club in Panama City, Fla. at 8 a.m. CT.
THE COURSE » Designed by Greg Norman, Shark’s Tooth Golf Club features a mix of pine forest and lake views tucked inside Florida’s largest dune lake, Lake Powell. The par-72 course ranges from the high-5,000’s in yardage up to 7,246 yards at its most challenging. Shark’s Tooth’s undulating greens and deep bunkers offers an exciting treat to begin the postseason push for these collegiate golfers.
THE FIELD » The ACC Men’s Golf Championships feature three top-20 teams with No. 4 Virginia leading the field in front of No. 9 North Carolina and No. 18 Stanford. No. 21 Georgia Tech follows with No. 24 Florida State, No. 27 Duke, No. 29 Notre Dame, No. 31 Wake Forest, No. 32 Clemson, No. 35 Louisville, No. 46 SMU and No. 50 Cal in tow. Also participating is NC State, Virginia Tech and Boston College.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT » The ACC Men’s Golf Championships consists of 54 holes of stroke play from April 23-25 with competition starting at 8 a.m. each day with three rounds of 18 holes played under the play five, keep four format. Match play begins with the quarterfinals on Sunday, April 26 at 8:30 a.m. with the top eight teams battling head-to-head with five pairings looking to secure three team points for the win. Semifinals match play also takes place following the quarterfinals. Finals match play begins on Monday at 10 a.m. All times are central.

THE CARDINAL LINEUP » Stanford brings the same six golfers it had in contention at The Western out to Panama City with No. 59 Jay Leng leading the charge for the Cardinal. No. 79 Dean Greyserman and No. 124 Nathan Wang will also head out to The Sunshine State along with Cooper Stearns, Ethan Gao and Edan Cui.
