ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The No. 11/10-ranked Vanderbilt men’s golf team opens the championship portion of its season this week, as the Commodores are set to make their annual trek to St. Simons Island, Georgia, for the 2026 SEC Men’s Golf Championship. Play takes place Wednesday through Sunday at the Sea Island Golf Club.
Tournament Format
The 2026 SEC Men’s Golf Championship takes place April 22-26 on the Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club. Teams will play in a 54-hole stroke-play tournament over the first three days, with one 18-hole round being played per day. The top eight finishing teams from stroke play advance to match play.
Match play opens on Saturday, with the quarterfinals in the morning and the semifinals that afternoon. Saturday’s semifinal matches will stream live on SEC Network+ starting at 2 p.m. CT.
The championship match will be held on Sunday and airs live at 7 a.m. CT on SEC Network.
Tee Times and Pairings
The first three days of the 2025 SEC Men’s Golf Championship get underway at 7 a.m. CT. The final regular-season rankings on clippd determine pairings for the first round. Tee times for the second and third rounds will be based on the previous round’s score.
Saturday’s quarterfinal matches begin at 6:30 a.m. CT, with the semifinal matches taking place at noon that same day.

Course Information
The SEC Men’s Golf Championship will once again be played at Sea Island Golf Club in St Simons Island, Georgia. The Seaside Course is 7,005 yards and plays as a par 70. This marks the 25th year for the Southeastern Conference Championship to be contested at Sea Island Golf Club.
