Wildcats Ends Season at NCAA Stanford Regional


Arizona Women’s Golf wrapped up the final round of the NCAA Stanford Regional on Wednesday at Stanford Golf Course, finishing the tournament in eighth place at 32-over overall. The Wildcats posted a 15-over team score in the final round to close out the regional competition. The Wildcats missed the cut and their season has come to an end. 

Leading the way for Arizona was Kinsley Ni, who carded a 2-over 73 in the final round to finish tied for 26th overall at 5-over for the tournament. Nena Wongthanavimok finished tied for 35th overall at 8-over after posting a 6-over 77 on Wednesday.

Sara Vitasek and Maria Cabanillas each recorded rounds of 5-over 76 in the final round. Vitasek finished tied for 38th overall at 9-over, while Cabanillas placed 45th overall at 13-over for the tournament. Angela Arora rounded out the Wildcats’ lineup with a 3-over 74, finishing 43rd overall at 11-over through three rounds.
