MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin women’s golfer Vanessa Ho has been named to the 2021-22 Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars Team.
Ho, a freshman from San Diego, California, was among 1,485 student-athletes selected for the prestigious honor. The criteria for inclusion is among the most stringent in all of collegiate athletics, including a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
She made her collegiate debut with the Badgers at the Cougar Classic to lead the Badgers with a 35th-place finish this past season and played in all 10 tournaments for Wisconsin. She finished the season with a 74.40 average (30 rounds) and tied for second place at the Indiana Invitational (73-73-73+219) to earn her highest finish of the season and her third top-10 finish of 2021-22 and her UW career so far.
