It’s another packed weekend full of Virginia Tech sports. Women’s soccer and football will be in action at home, while men’s golf, volleyball and men’s soccer are on the road. Read below for more information on whom each team will play, the dates of those matchups and promotions at home events.

Thursday, Sept. 8 | 6:05 p.m. ET | vs. South Carolina
Sunday, Sept. 11 | 1 p.m. | vs. Northern Colorado
[RV] Tech will host No. 4 South Carolina at Thompson Field on Thursday night for a clash of the undefeated at 6:05 p.m. You can catch all the action on ACC Network Extra. Come out for Throwback Thursday: The Best of the 90s. There will be a fanny pack giveaway for the first 50 fans in attendance, trivia, contests and more. Tech takes on Northern Colorado on Sunday at 1 p.m., which can be streamed on ACC Network Extra. We will celebrate our Hometown Heroes Sunday with a Tech football ticket giveaway and more.

Saturday, Sept. 10 | 8 p.m. | vs. Boston College
Tech football takes on its first ACC opponent this season for its home opener on Saturday with kick-off at 8 p.m. at Lane Stadium. You can watch it live on the ACC Network. Come to Hokie Village for live music, autograph signing and food trucks starting at 4:30 p.m. Then, welcome the football team as they arrive on Beamer Way at 5:30 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 9-10 | Rod Myers Invitational
Tech goes on its second road trip of the season this weekend to Duke, where it will play in the Rod Myers Invitational.
Volleyball
DePaul Invitational
Friday, Sept. 2 | Noon & 8 p.m. | vs. Eastern Michigan & DePaul
Saturday, Sept. 10 | 3 p.m. | vs. Saint Louis
After winning the Hokie Invitational, Tech heads west to the DePaul Invitational, where it will play Eastern Michigan at noon, then play DePaul at 8 p.m. on Saturday. You can stream the DePaul match live on Flo Friday night. Saturday, the Hokies face-off against Saint Louis at 3 p.m. to round out their trip.
