It’s Moving Day at the 2023 Genesis Invitational and Tiger Woods has a tee time.
The 15-time major champion just barely made the weekend at Riviera Country Club near Los Angeles after faltering on Friday to follow an electric Thursday return to PGA Tour action. Woods shot rounds of 69-74 to make the 1-over cut on the number.
Still recovering from a single-car accident that nearly cost him his leg, this weekend’s rounds will be a great test for his strength and stability as Woods prepares for a 2023 schedule that most likely won’t include many tournaments outside of the majors.
Woods tees off at 1:12 p.m. ET alongside Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Matthias Schwab. Follow his Saturday round with shot-by-shot analysis below.
And we’re off. Tiger lays back with a fairway metal off the short, reachable 10th and just misses the green to the left. No real issue there, should have a nice little chip shot waiting for him. The Big Cat has some gray pants, a light gray shirt and white vest today. Clean look. Dig it. Okay back to the golf.
