» With an opening season-low 279 (-9), Michigan is tied for second after the first 18 holes of the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate — just one shot back of Long Beach State (278, -10).
» With a perfect sheet, one eagle and six birdies, Will Anderson fired a career-low 64 (-8), which ties the second -owest round as well as the lowest “to-par” round in program history. His prior best was a 66.
» The Wolverine starting five etched 23 birdies and two eagles in the first round. Three of the five posted sub-par tallies, while the remaining two were one-over.
» Playing as an individual, Jack O’Donnell shot a career-best 70 (-2), topping his prior best by eight shots (76, 2021 Border Olympics).
