ROSEMONT, Ill. – Fighting Illini fifth-year senior Adrien Dumont de Chassart has been named Big Ten Golfer of the Week after leading Illinois to a second-place finish last weekend at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational in Augusta, Ga. The Big Ten Conference announced the honor Thursday morning.
- Finished as runner-up at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational
- Shot a season-low score of 203 (-13), leading the Illini to a second-place team finish at the Forest Hills Golf Club
- Carded rounds of 69, 65, and 69 to finish nearly six strokes below the course average of 73.27 for the week
- Recorded 48 of 54 holes at or below par, including 15 birdies and a pair of eagles, en route to his seventh career runner-up finish
It marks the fifth Big Ten Golfer of the Week honor of Dumont de Chassart’s career, and his second of the season.
