Team golf and beignets, anyone?
The PGA Tour is in New Orleans this week for the Zurich Classic at TPC Louisiana where the best players in the world have paired up and are hoping to dethrone defending champions Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele.
The world Nos. 4 and 5 are back at it this year and are both coming off top-five finishes at the RBC Heritage.
Max Homa and Collin Morikawa, who both went to Cal and were on the 2022 United States Presidents Cup squad together, are teaming up. Last year’s runner-ups Sam Burns and Billy Horschel are once again playing together.
Zurich: Five can’t-miss teams
Rounds one and three will be four-ball — both players play their own ball and the team counts the best score — while rounds two and four will be foursomes — alternate shot.

Two of the best ball strikers on Earth playing together is enough for me to take a look at Team Horikawa at +750.
