EVANSTON, Illinois — First-year Dianna Lee has been recognized as the Big Ten Golfer of the Week, the Conference announced Wednesday. Lee finished runner-up at the 2023 Silverado Showdown in Napa, leading Northwestern to its second consecutive team title of the spring.
The San Diego native was one of four golfers (out of a field of 93) who finished under par, shooting a 2-under-214 at the Silverado Resort and Spa, including back-to-back 69’s in Rounds 2 and 3. Lee is the third Northwestern golfer of the spring to be honored by the Big Ten, joining Kelly Sim and Lauryn Nguyen, and the second in the last three weeks as the ‘Cats prepare to head into the postseason.

No. 15 Northwestern is the Conference’s top-ranked team heading into the 2023 Big Ten Championships on Friday, April 21, at Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh.
