RALEIGN, N.C. – No. 22 Arizona Women’s Golf will tee off at NCAA Regionals for a 30th consecutive season when it begins play in the postseason play at N.C. “This is the time of the year that we prepare for all season and offseason,” said head coach Laura Ianello. “Coming off a strong showing at Pac-12’s, I feel good about where we are at as a team heading into this week. We have a team of determined, resilient and competitive young ladies who are eager to play their best golf of the year. Our team has prepared and game planned for the course and conditions, and we are all excited to get out there and shoot some great scores.”
Joining the Wildcats as the top seeded teams at N.C. State this week are Wake Forest, Arizona State, Florida State and Florida who are all ranked in the top 25 in GolfStat’s national rankings. The field of teams will play 54 holes over three days at the Lonnie Pool Golf Course, which will play as a par-72 at a length of 6,324 yards.
