All seven members of the Florida women’s golf team earned conference honor roll recognition.
Three Gators – Marina Escobar, Annabell Fuller and Jenny Kim – collected the award for the third time in their career. Maisie Filler notched her second and third total conference academic honors as she earned first-year previously.
Jackie Lucena added the recognition for the first time after she was named to the first-year honor roll a season ago. A member of the 2023 Community Service Team, Taylor Roberts notched the award for the first time.
Rounding out the sweep was freshman Karoline Tuttle, who was named the 2022-23 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.
Florida placed 322 on SEC Academic Honor Rolls (113 on fall list; 72 winter, 137 on spring) and 80 on the First-Year Honor Roll.
To be recognized to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, each student-athlete must 1) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner or have participated on a varsity team for two years if non-scholarship; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport’s entire NCAA Championship segment.
To be recognized to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll, each student-athlete must 1) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport’s entire NCAA Championship segment.
