Heritage Golf Group hits 33 acquisitions with The Club at Grandezza

Heritage Golf Group has cemented its position as one of the fastest growing management companies with the acquisition of The Club at Grandezza, a private club in Estero, Florida. The nature of the club aligns with the other Florida clubs in Heritage’s portfolio.

“We’re extremely pleased to be part of Grandezza and add to our Florida collection of clubs where we’ve consistently and successfully invested resources and talent to elevate the members’ private club experience,” said Mark Burnett, President and CEO of Heritage Golf Group.

The club is located in the private Grandezza community south of downtown Fort Myers, Florida. Situated in an upscale gated residential community, the club’s amenities include an 18-hole championship golf course with scenic lakes and tees that ranges from 4,000 to 6,900 yards. The expansive 51,500 square foot clubhouse has multiple member dining areas along with updated private event spaces. The resort style pool, fitness center, and tennis courts round out the offerings.

Earlier this summer, Heritage acquired Stone Harbor Golf Club in Cape May, New Jersey, and Deercreek Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida. Stone Harbor became the fourth club in Heritage’s New Jersey portfolio, while Deercreek was yet another feather in their Florida cap.

Stone Harbor

Stone Harbor sits on 350 acres near Atlantic City and Philadelphia. The course was designed in 1987 by Desmond Muirhead and offers an 18-hole, par-72 layout with five sets of tees, multiple water hazards and bunkers, as well as practice facilities with a driving range, short game area, and a large putting green. The clubhouse offers multiple dining options, event space, and an outdoor bar and patio. Capital improvements are in the works for both the course and clubhouse.

Deercreek

Deercreek, which opened in 1989 with a golf course designed by Robert Miller, is situated in an upscale 750-home residential community just southeast of downtown Jacksonville. The club features amenities such as a fully equipped fitness center, an aquatics center with an Olympic-sized swimming pool and eight Har-Tru tennis courts.

Other recent Heritage acquisitions include Inverness and Riverchase Country Clubs, both in the Birmingham, Alabama area, and three clubs in the Denver area: The Golf Club at Bear Dance, Colorado National Golf Club, and Plum Creek Golf Club.
