Surratt, Lewis Tied for 12th; Vols in Eigth After Two Rounds at Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Redshirt senior Bryce Lewis and sophomore Caleb Surratt are tied for 12th place following round two at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate.

The duo shot 2-under 70s in Friday’s round and fired even-par 70s in Saturday’s round.  

Surratt opened his second round with three consecutive birdies, while Lewis scattered three birdies across round two.

As a team, Tennessee shot 5-over in round two and currently sit at 1-under overall—one stroke behind Charlotte (2-under) and three strokes ahead of Pepperdine (+2).

Redshirt senior Jake Hall provided Tennessee with its third counting round of the day after shooting a 2-over 74. The Knoxville native sits in 34th place at 1-over ahead of day three.

Lance Simpson gave UT its final contributing round on Saturday. The redshirt sophomore posted a 3-over 75 in the second round and is tied for 36th at 2-over.

The final member of the Vol lineup, Evan Woosley-Reed, shot a 4-over 76 in round two and is tied for 50th place ahead of the final round.
