Isabel Sy | Sr., Women’s Golf | Major: Kinesiology

Isabel Sy posted a 54-hole total of 208 (-8) at the Landfall Tradition, including a season-low 6-under (66) on Sunday’s final round, to secure her third-consecutive Top-5 finish. The senior’s fourth-place showing made her the third Illini golfer since 2013 to achieve three-straight Top 5s, joining Crystal Wang (2022-23) and Ember Schuldt (2013-14). Sy carded 17 birdies during the tournament, tied for the most among the field and also posted the second-lowest scoring average on par 4s (3.87, -4). For her effort, Sy was also honored as the Big Ten Golfer of the Week for the third time in her career. 

A native of San Gabriel, Calif., Sy holds 3.39 GPA while pursuing her degree in kinesiology.
