No player has ever had a better round of golf at Pebble Beach Golf Links than Wyndham Clark.
The 2023 U.S. Open Champion shot 12-under 60 on Saturday during the third round of the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, setting a new competitive course record at the famed links on the Monterey Peninsula. He had an eagle putt on the final hole to shoot 59, but he settled for a birdie and 60 instead.
Clark’s round included two eagles, nine birdies and one bogey. He finished his round at 17 under par for the tournament, and at the time was three shots clear of the field.
The old men’s record was a 61 in the 2017 Carmel Cup, a men’s collegiate event. Former Texas Tech golfer Hurly Long set the record. Rose Zhang set the women’s course record in 2022 at the same tournament, shooting 63.
