Blue Devils Return to Action at FSU Match Up in Tallahassee

DURHAM – The Duke women’s golf program continues the spring portion of its schedule this weekend as the Blue Devils travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to compete in the Florida State Match Up on March 15-17 at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club. 
 
Seeing action along with the Blue Devils will be Alabama, Baylor, Campbell, Coastal Carolina, Daytona State, Delaware, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Nebraska, Ohio State and Southern Methodist. 
 
The Blue Devils will feature a lineup that includes graduate student Emma McMyler, senior Phoebe Brinker, senior Anne Chen, sophomore Andie Smith and freshman Katie Li.  Junior Rylie Heflin will compete as an individual as well.
 
All teams will play 18 holes each day for a total of 54 holes over three days. 
 
On the season, McMyler leads the squad with a 71.78 stroke average, while Chen (72.28), Smith (72.47) and Brinker (72.56) are close behind.  Brinker owns a team-best 11 rounds of even or under par, while Smith and McMyler have posted 10 each. 
 
Duke, ranked No. 18 nationally, will compete in the FSU Match Up for the first time in school history.  The Blue Devils will head to the state of Florida for the second time over the last three tournaments.
