Six 54-hole regional tournaments will be conducted May 13-15. Thirteen teams and 10 individuals not on those teams will compete at each of three regionals while the other three regionals will have 14 teams and five individuals not on those teams. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals. Team and individual medalist titles will be decided May 24-29 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Texas is the host institution for the 2024 championships.

The other five regionals will take place in Baton Rouge, La., Chapel Hill, N.C., West Lafayette, Ind., Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., and Austin, Texas.
Stanford is coming off a third-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships, where Karl Vilips earned his first career tournament win as the individual medalist with a 2-under 282 weekend. Vilips was one of two tournament winners on the season for Stanford, joining Cabo Collegiate winner Michael Thorbjornsen.
Last season in the regional round, Stanford finished second in the Las Vegas regional with a 57-under 807, finished behind regional winner Arizona State. The Cardinal ultimately finished T-8th at the NCAA Championships, losing the tiebreaker to advance to match play.
