Beaver Golf originates from Germany and is adding a splash of color to your golf attire through its bold and unique glove designs, all while having sustainability at the very heart of the brand. Beaver Golf is on a mission to change the world with its golf gloves. Specifically, the brand uses no plastic in the packaging process and makes sure they use no harmful substances in the making of its gloves, including non allergenic substances.
As someone who plays the majority of their golf in the UK where the weather can change in an instance, having a top quality golf glove that can handle all weather conditions is key and that’s why I was excited to try the Beaver Golf All Season Ultra golf glove. This glove is made from AAA Cabretta leather, which is as thin and soft as any of the best golf gloves on the market, and is available in seven different colors.
This glove felt great when my hands when on the club and was so thin it provided excellent feel. While I wasn’t sure about the ‘Cognac Brown’ colorway at first and I’m sure it won’t be to everyone’s taste, it did grow on me as the round progressed and I really liked the cool beaver logo sported on the Velcro closure tab.
These gloves are made with what Beaver Golf calls ‘2nd skin fit’ meaning that this glove is designed to fit snugly straight away and should be comfortable right out of the packaging. The small holes on the glove allow for increased air flow and unusually are found on the palm side of the glove as well as the rear. While I feel this would certainly help with keeping your hands cool, I can’t help but feel this may reduce the durability of the glove and make it easier to rip – but only time will tell on this, no such damage so far.
The innovative rain technology from Beaver is what really makes this glove unique and allows this glove to perform well in all weather conditions, hence the name. While I was testing this glove on a rare sunny day in the UK spring, it managed moisture very well meaning my hands never once felt sweaty.
