I talked with Dan about his time caddying for Ernie Els particularly during Ernie’s victory at the 1994 US Open at Oakmont and at The Masters. Dan also shared the story about the day he upstaged Ernie when he was more sought after by reporters than Ernie at the Canadian Open. I also got his thoughts on the Penguins run to the Stanley Cup.
Jeremiah shared the story about how he founded Frogger Golf and what the ah ha moment was for him that he could make better products than were already out on the market. We also talked about their “Catch Latch” technology, the innovations they’ve made to the golf bag and the challenges of building a brand in the super competitive golf industry.
