Penn State Men’s Golf Schedule
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Coming off a strong fall campaign, the Penn State men’s golf team and head coach Greg Nye have announced the Nittany Lions’ 2022 spring slate. The spring schedule is highlighted by the 45th-annual Rutherford Intercollegiate at Penn State’s Blue Course on April 16-17.
The 2022 spring season begins on Feb. 4-5 when the Nittany Lions travel to Palm Coast, Fla. For the eighth-annual Big Ten Match Play Championship. Penn State stays in the Sunshine state for its next tournament on Feb. 12-13 as the Nittany Lions are set to play in the Florida Gators Invitational.
Penn State returns to action on March 7-8 when the Nittany Lions travel to Bluffton, S.C. for the Colleton River Collegiate, hosted by Michigan State. PSU plays one more tournament on the road in March when the Nittany Lions return to the General Hackler Championship in Myrtle Beach, S.C. hosted by Coastal Carolina on March 13-14.
Penn State’s home tournament is set for April 16-17 at the 45th-annual Rutherford Intercollegiate. The Nittany Lions have come out on top in the last six Rutherford Intercollegiate tournaments.
A final tune-up comes April 23-24 when the Nittany Lions travel to Ohio State’s Kepler Intercollegiate. The Big Ten Championship follows on April 29-May 1 from French Lick, Ind.
