MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin is set to compete in the Indiana Invitational on April 9-10. This will be the final tournament of the season for the team before they head to the Big Ten Championship.
Here are five things to know before the team tees off:
1. Last Time Out: The Badgers finished 12th in the Chattanooga Classic on March 27-29. Vanessa Ho led the Badgers, finishing T26 with a six-over-par 222. The team shot a 910 (+46) over the three rounds.
2. The Course: The Pfau Course is home to the Indiana Hoosiers and located on campus. Designed by Steve Smyers and Fuzzy Zoeller, the course will be playing as a par-71 for the tournament.
3. The Tournament: Last season the Badgers finished T11 at the Indiana Invitational with a 904 (+40). Teams will play 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday. Both days will be a shotgun format starting at 7:30 a.m. CST. Teams will have six players and count the four best individual scores from each round.
4. The Field: Augusta, Indiana, IUC, IUPUI, Michigan, Minnesota, Old Dominion, Purdue, Toledo, UAB and Wisconsin make up the 11-field team. Chloe Chan, Nicole Ciskowski, Gia Feliciano, Mackenzie Hahn, Vanessa Ho and Emily Lauterbach will be playing for Wisconsin.
