MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin men’s golf team announced its 2025-26 schedule on Friday, with its annual home Badger Invitational set for Sept. 22 through Sept. 23 at TPC Wisconsin.
The Badgers compete at 10 tournaments this season, with the 2026 Big Ten Championships occurring from May 1 through May 3.
Wisconsin first tees off at the Gopher Invitational, hosted by Minnesota from September 7-8. The tournament takes place at Windsong Farm Golf Club in Maple Plain, Minn.
The team then travels back home for the annual Badger Invitational that runs from September 22-23 at TPC Wisconsin in Madison.
The Badgers round out their fall season with three tournaments in the month of October. Wisconsin stays in-state to participate in the Marquette Intercollegiate from October 5-7, playing at Erin Hills Golf Course in Hartford. South Carolina then hosts the Bryson Invitational at the Daniel Island Club in Charleston, S.C. on October 13-15, before the Badgers finish out their full week of play at the Fallen Oak Invitational from October 16-18, hosted by Ole Miss.
Wisconsin gets back into action with the Puerto Rico Classic hosted by Purdue in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. It’s the fifth straight year that the Badgers will fly down south to the Grand Reserve Golf Club to compete in the tournament.
Finishing off the spring regular season, Wisconsin participates in the Schenkel Invitational on March 13-15 in Statesboro, Ga. (Hosted by Georgia Southern), the “Pay it Forward” Collegiate on March 23-24 in Peoria, Ariz. (Hosted by Minnesota), and the Hoosier Collegiate on April 18-19 in Bloomington, Ind. (Hosted by Indiana).
Postseason play begins with the Big Ten Championships from May 1-3. This year’s tournament will be played at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Oregon. Last season’s team finished tied for sixth in the Championships, with Jacob Beckman leading the team with a 2-over par finish.
Head coach Mike Wilson enters his fifth season overseeing the Badgers. Under Wilson, the Badgers have two top-five finishes in the Big Ten Championships, and went to the NCAA Regional Round as a team in 2023. Two players – Griffin Barela (2022) and Cameron Huss (2022, 2024) – qualified for the NCAA Regional tournaments, with Huss advancing to the NCAA championship in 2024.
