EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern women’s golf secured a place in its 12th consecutive NCAA Regional, announced Wednesday afternoon. The Wildcats are headed to the Stanford Regional in Palo Alto, Calif, which will take place from May 9-11.
Head Coach Emily Fletcher and Assistant Coach Beth Miller have led Northwestern in each of their 12 straight regional appearances. The ‘Cats have headed west each of the last two tournaments, going to the Stanford Regional in 2021 in California, and the Cle Elum Regional in Washington in 2019 (no tournament in 2020).
Northwestern’s lineup will include recently announced Big Ten Freshman of the Year Lauryn Nguyen, First Team All-Big Ten Jennifer Cai, and Second Team All-Big Ten Kelly Sim.
The 2022 NCAA Division I women’s golf season will conclude at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Check out the full regional and championship schedule for DI women’s golf below:
