The Pete Dye Course at French Lick plays as a par-72, 7,033-yard course. Teams will play 18 holes each day with tee times beginning at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday.

All 14 Big Ten teams will compete this weekend for the conference crown. Five Big Ten teams are ranked in the top 50 of the GolfStat rankings in #19 Illinois, #25 Purdue, #29 Ohio State, #45 Michigan State and #46 Northwestern.

Penn State will be represented by junior Patrick Sheehan, graduate student Lou Olsakovsky, freshman Jake Griffin, sophomore James Allen and junior Jimmy Meyers. The Pete Dye Course at French Lick resides on one of Indiana’s highest elevation points and has narrow, immaculate fairways and rugged, intense terrain. This championship golf course has gained national acclaim for its 40-mile panoramic views of the southern Indiana countryside, three man-made lakes, “volcano” bunkers and a variety of elevation changes.

The Nittany Lions are coming off a pair of strong tournament showings in each of the last two weekends, winning the Rutherford Intercollegiate at the Penn State Blue Course and finishing tied for fourth in a strong 13-team field at Ohio State’s Kepler Intercollegiate.
