Pack Completes Day Two at NCAA New Haven Regional

NEW HAVEN, CT –

The NC State men’s golf team completed round two of the NCAA New Haven Regional played at Yale Golf Club on Tuesday.

The Pack is in 13th place after two rounds of play.

Easton Paxton leads NC State in a tie for 28th place after back-to-back rounds of even-par 70.

Maximilian Steinlechner is next for the Pack in a tie for 53rd place at five-over par for the tourney after a 73 in the second round on Tuesday.

Spencer Oxendine is two shots back of Steinlechner in 60th place.

Ethan Choi is in 70th place and Carter Graf rounds out the Pack’s lineup in a tie for 72nd place.

Wake Forest leads North Carolina by one shot for first place. North Florida and Georgia Southern are tied for third place, eight shots back of the Tar Heels. Texas Tech is in fifth place, two shots back of third and five shots ahead of sixth-place Illinois.

The top-five teams after three rounds advance to the NCAA Championships in Scottsdale, Ariz.

The third and final round goes off on Wednesday morning with the first NC State golfer teeing off from hole number one at 9:20 a.m.
