ROSEMONT, Ill. – Northwestern broke the school record for Spring Academic All-Big Ten honorees with 119 student-athletes selected by the conference for the spring season.
For the eighth consecutive year, Northwestern student-athletes matched or broke the school record for Academic All-Big Ten honorees, with 361 student-athletes named Academic All-Big Ten throughout 2021-22 season. This marks the 12th consecutive year that Northwestern has eclipsed 200 student-athletes earning Academic All-Big Ten honors
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Additionally, Sarah Filby of Northwestern Fencing posted one of the conference’s 69 unblemished GPAs.
