Patrick Reed Removed From Scottish Open Field


LIV Golf new boy Patrick Reed has been removed from the field for this week’s Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick.

The former Masters champion resigned his PGA Tour membership when he signed for the Saudi-backed Series, but is an honorary life member of the DP World Tour. Any possibility that that status may have seen the 31-year-old sidestep the ban on LIV players teeing it up at the Scottish Open was ended on Sunday night. According to The Scotsman, a DP World Tour spokesperson said: “Patrick Reed has been withdrawn from the entry list for the Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club.”
