Four From Women's Golf Earn All-American Scholar Accolades


CORAL SPRINGS, Florida – Earlier Tuesday afternoon, four student-athletes from the Penn State women’s golf team were honored as All-American Scholars by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

Senior’s Sarah Willis (Eaton, Ohio) and Taylor Waller (Cannonsburg, Pa.) along with junior classmates Mathilde Delavallade (Royan, France) and Isha Dhruva (Katy, Texas) each received this prestigious honor.

For Willis this is the fourth-straight year she has earned this distinction while it marks the third time Delavallade has been honored and the second each for Dhruva and Waller.

To be selected to the All-American Scholar Team one must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50, this is one of the most stringent criteria in all of college athletics. This year 1,485 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized with this prestigious honor.
