Old Course at St. Andrews yardage book

The Old Course at St. Andrews – host of this week’s British Open in Scotland – wasn’t originally designed so much as it evolved in the early 15^th century, although architectural contributions were made hundreds of years later by Daw Anderson in the 1850s and Old Tom Morris a few decades after that.

Known as the Home of Golf, the Old Course ranks No. 2 on Golfweek’s Best list of top classic courses built before 1960 in Great Britain and Ireland. It also ranks No. 2 on Golfweek’s Best list of all classic international courses outside the U.S.
