Kuhns Named to SEC First-Year Honor Roll

COLUMBIA, Mo. – A total of 1,045 student-athletes were named to the 2021-22 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll, Thursday by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey. Mizzou saw 79 student-athletes on the list, marking the fifth-straight season with 80 or more first-year student-athletes honored. The First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2021-22 academic calendar (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher).

Rising sophomore Hallie Kuhns (health science) is among the honorees. She played 13 rounds in five tournaments. As a squad, Mizzou posted three-top finishes in 2021-2022. Earlier this month, Kuhns was among the 1,485 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team includes a minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and participation in 50 percent of the team’s competitions.
