MADISON, Wis. — Four tournaments highlight the Wisconsin men’s golf fall schedule. The Badgers will open the autumn competitive season with a home tournament in September and a trip to Florida in October.
Wisconsin returns seven Badgers to the roster, led by seniors Daniel Aas, Jack Blair and Coalter Smith. Junior Cameron Huss, an NCAA qualifier for the Badgers, and classmate Ryan Smith are back along with sophomores Jacob Beckman and Graham Moody. Six new golfers join the roster this fall as three freshmen — McCord Grice, Carter Pitcairn and Spencer Turtz — join three transfer student-athletes — Maxime Legros, Max Schwarz and Clayton Tribus — as new Badgers.
Wisconsin tees off the fall season at UW’s home course University Ridge on Sept. 11-13 in Madison. Ranked No. 2 in the nation among best collegiate golf courses by Golf Pass, the scenic ‘U Ridge’ is a 7,289-yard course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and features rolling hills and valleys overlooking the city. In 2021, the Badgers finished fourth overall (864, +4) out of 14 teams, behind Illinois State (856), Sam Houston (859) and Cincinnati (860).
Returning Badgers Huss and Coalter Smith finished T5th (214, -2) and T19th (217, +1), respectively, among last year’s field. This tournament is free entry for fans.
