Men's Golf Announces 2022-23 Schedule


PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State men’s golf team is set to play in 11 regular season tournaments in the upcoming campaign, as WSU Men’s Golf Head Coach Dustin White announced his team’s 2022-23 schedule Wednesday, August 3.

“We’re excited about the schedule we have in place this fall,” said White. “It’s pretty similar to last year, so there will be some familiarity with golf courses and competitive experience to draw from.”

The 2022-23 slate will feature five fall tournaments and six tournaments in the spring, as the Cougars head into year seven under White’s direction.

Washington State opens the season Sept. 19-20 on the west side of the Evergreen State, as the Cougars will play in the Husky Invitational at Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Washington. The regular season will commence April 28-30 in Stanford, California for the 2023 Pac-12 Men’s Golf Championship, which will be played at the Stanford Golf Club this season.

After its season-opening tournament at the Husky Invitational, Washington State will play in a total of four tournaments during the month of October. The busy month kicks off in Boulder, Colorado for the Mark Simpson Invitational on Oct. 3-4. The following week, WSU heads to Corvallis, Oregon to participate in the Oregon State Invitational (Oct. 10-11).

The Cougars will head to Stockton, California looking to defend their team title at the Visit Stockton Invitational on Oct. 20-22. Last season, WSU won the Visit Stockton Invitational after hitting 36-under, 816. Washington State closes out the 2022 fall season at the Poppy Hills Golf Club in Monterey, California for the Saint Mary’s Invitational on Oct. 31-Nov. 2.

After the winter break, Washington State returns to the links Feb. 16-18 to play in the John Burns Intercollegiate in Lihue, Hawai’i. The Cougars return to the mainland the following week, as they’ll participate in The Prestige in Palm Desert, California on Feb. 20-22. WSU makes its annual trip to the Bandon Dunes Championship on March 12-14 in Bandon, Oregon, then heads back to the Golden State to play in The Goodwin, which will take place March 30-April 1 at TPC Harding Park Country Club in San…
