STANFORD, Calif. – Margot and Mitch Milias Director of Women’s Golf Anne Walker has announced the Cardinal’s 2022-23 schedule. The Cardinal will once again host the Stanford Intercollegiate in the fall, along with new tournaments at Pebble Beach and Seminole Golf Club.
 
The defending national champions will begin their title defense at the Carmel Cup, Sept. 2-4 at Pebble Beach Golf Club. Next up on the schedule will be the return of the annual Big Match at Menlo Country Club, a mixed match-play format against Cal with the Cardinal men’s team. That event will take place on Thursday, Aug. 29, and is only open to members of the club and invited guests. 
 
Alongside the Cardinal men, the women will play at the marquee Stephens Cup at Seminole Golf Club, Oct. 10-12, before hosting the Stanford Intercollegiate at Stanford Golf Course, Oct. 21-23. The fall concludes with the annual Pac-12 Preview, Oct. 31-Nov. 2, at Nanea Golf Club.
 
The spring schedule starts with a return to Palos Verdes Golf Club and the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge on Feb. 13-14, followed by the Juli Inkster Invitational on March 6-7. Stanford and San Jose State will once again meet at Cordevalle for the Battle of the Bay match play event on March 21. The Cardinal concludes the regular season with the two-day Silicon Valley Showcase at Green Hills Country Club, April 10-11.
 
Pac-12 Championships will be at Papago Golf Club, April 17-19, and are hosted by Arizona State. NCAA Regionals will be May 8-10 and the NCAA Championships (May 19-24) return to Grayhawk Golf Club for the third and final season.
 
Stanford returns a deep and talented lineup, led by defending individual national champion and world No. 1 amateur Rose Zhang. 2021 NCAA champion Rachel Heck and rising senior and first team All-American Brooke Seay also return, along with rising junior Sadie Englemann. Angelina Ye, Caroline Sturdza, Rebecca Becht and Yu Wen Lu also return, along with incoming talent like Megha Ganne and Kelly Xu
