Jason Kokrak What’s In The Bag?

Since winning his first PGA Tour title in 2020 at the CJ Cup, American PGA Tour professional Jason Kokrak has managed to get into the winner’s circle two more times. All of his wins have come in events with excellent fields, at the 2021 Charles Schwab Challenge, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open. Regardless what clubs does he use currently on Tour? We take a look below.

Currently Kokrak has a mix and match bag setup which includes four different brands. At the top of the bag he uses a TaylorMade Stealth Plus driver (opens in new tab) after having used the SIM and SIM2 for a while. A model also used by Tiger Woods (opens in new tab) and Collin Morikawa, when we tested the Stealth Plus it produced excellent results. Consistently impressive ball speeds provided plenty of distance, whilst the compact aesthetics will suit the more confident ball striker. We think it looks outstanding as well. Interestingly he did appear to use the Callaway Rogue ST driver for a few weeks in 2022 but quickly went back to the Stealth Plus model.

Fairways

He then uses a TaylorMade SIM2 three-wood (opens in new tab) and then a Titleist TSi2 seven-wood. They have 15 and 21 degrees of loft respectively. It will be interesting to see if he decides to put the newer Stealth models in the bag given he has put the new driver in his setup.

Irons

His irons go from three-iron to pitching wedge and are PXG 0311T Gen 4’s. They are all fitted with Dynamic Gold X100 shafts. We are unsure when exactly he switched to PXG irons but on the website he says; “I switched to PXG based on looks, feel and numbers only. And then I got to know the guys on Tour. Their willingness to support me and my needs as a player has been next level.”
