MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin Men’s Golf has started the season off by hosting the 2022 Badger Invitational at University Ridge.
Sunday’s opening round of the invitational was canceled due to the weather. Monday’s competition is tentatively planned for a 9 a.m. CT shotgun start.
Despite the rain, the Badgers competing in the individual tournament at nearby Pleasant View Golf Course were able to play 18 holes.
Ryan Smith led the individual Badgers at the end of the day at 75 (+4) and tying for eighth, with a birdie on hole 17. Freshman McCord Grice followed closely at 76 (+5), tying for 10th.
