Lady Vols Finish Seventh at Cougar Classic

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Tennessee’s women’s golf team logged a seventh-place finish at the Cougar Classic.
 
The Lady Vols shot +3 (287) in the third round to finish the tournament at +1 overall (853). 
 
After notching two under-par rounds on Monday, Vanessa Gilly shot -1 on the front nine to card a 73. The junior finished tied for 21^st (-2), recording her fourth-best collegiate finish. 
 
Kayla Holden shot 2-under par on the front nine of the final round to conclude the event tied for 31^st (+1).
 
Bailey Davis shot even par on the first nine holes of Tuesday’s round to finish tied for 34^th place (+2).
 
Manassanan Chotikabhukkana notched a solid performance in her first tournament as a Lady Vol, carding a 69 in the final round. The freshman finished tied for 26^th at even par. 
 
Caroline Patterson carded a 77 in the final round to wrap up the tournament in 94^th place.
