TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama women’s golf team is back on the road for the Mason Rudolph Championship this weekend in Franklin, Tenn. The tournament, which is the second of four events this fall for the Crimson Tide, will be contested at the par 72, 6,449-yard Vanderbilt Legends Club – North Course. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be contested Friday through Sunday, Sept. 23-25.
The Lineup
- Alabama will sport the same lineup as last week’s season opener at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, and includes Benedetta Moresco, Sarah Edwards, Kynadie Adams, Isabella van der Biest and Taylor Kehoe
- Moresco paced the Tide’s lineup throughout its opening tournament, tying for 26th overall at 4-over par 220 (74-74-72)
- She has now finished in the top 30 in 12 of her last 13 tournaments competing for the Tide
- Edwards earned the third-best result of her career to begin her senior campaign, carding the Tide’s second-lowest total at 6-over 222 (77-72-73) to tie for 35th
- In her collegiate debut, Adams led the Tide in birdies with 10 across the three-day tournament, tying for the sixth-most of anyone in the field
- van der Biest, who earned SEC All-Freshman Team honors a year ago, currently holds the second-lowest stroke average
- Kehoe made her collegiate debut at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, finishing at 12-over par 228 (76-75-77)

- The Mason Rudolph Championship is held annually at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn.
- The Crimson Tide finished runner-up at the event last season, carding a team total of 12-under par 852 (285-278-289)
- Both Moresco and Edwards were part of the Tide’s lineup in the 2021 event, with Moresco earning UA’s top finish in 7th place at 5-under par 211

- In addition to No. 17 Alabama, other competing teams include No. 8 LSU, No. 13 Auburn, No. 19 Georgia, No. 23 Arizona, No. 25 Kentucky, No. 26 Vanderbilt, No. 28 Ohio State, No. 30 Mississippi, Chattanooga, Denver, Georgia Southern, Middle Tennessee and Washington
- The teams will compete in a 54-hole, stroke-play format.
