The Washington men’s golf team heads to the Midwest for its third tournament of the fall season. Monday and Tuesday, the Huskies will compete at the Inverness Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Toledo.
 
YouTube (Monday) and ESPN+ (Tuesday) will provide live coverage from Inverness Club as the 16-team field plays the three-round tournament. The Inverness course will play at par-71, 7,302 yards.
 
The Huskies have opened the 2022-23 season with two strong finishes, taking fifth place at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate and third at the Husky Invitational.
 
“This is a fantastic tournament and obviously a special one for me having gone to school at Toledo,” said Murray, who still shares the Rockets’ team record for low round (64). “Inverness is one of the great golf courses in the US and they are one of the best golf courses at hosting elite tournaments.”
 
Here is Washington’s lineup for this week’s tournament:

“This is a very strong field player on a championship golf course and will be a stern test for our guys,” Murray added. “We are sad that Petr Hruby isn’t fit to play as he is one of our best guys, but it is a great chance for Robert to come in and show what he can do.
 
“It’s another tournament in the lineup for Joshua as a freshman, and that is really accelerating his development as a player,” Murray concluded. “This will be a great week for our guys to evaluate where their games are at and where we stand as a team. Many of our guys are in good
