With a final-round score of 296, RU improved on its second-round score by six strokes. As a team, Rutgers ranked in the top-half of the field by playing the par 3s at 7-over. The Scarlet Knights also rolled in 159 pars and 37 birdies on the week.

“While this was not the finish we were looking for, we do have some positive takeaways from the tournament,” head coach Kari Williams said. “Across all three rounds, I saw some good shots and high-level play from everyone. It was great to count scores from everyone in the lineup and it was a full team effort. We’ll head back home with a week and a half to practice and prepare for our next event where I expect us to be very competitive.”

The Scarlet Knights are back in action at the Rocket Classic, hosted by Toledo in Port Clinton, Ohio, taking place on October 10th and 11th.
