MEDINAH, Ill. – Play at the Illini Women’s Invitational at Medinah concluded Tuesday, as Tennessee’s women’s golf team finished in 10th place at -12 (852).
After logging her first collegiate under-par rounds Monday, freshman Caroline Patterson shot +2 in round three to finish tied for 19th place at -5, the best finish of her young Lady Vol career.
Kayla Holden notched her second under-par score of the tournament, shooting -2 in the third round. The junior tied for 23rd place at -4, marking the fourth top-25 finish of her career. Bailey Davis had a strong final round in Medinah, posting three consecutive birdies to card a 68. The sophomore finished the tournament tied for 26th place at -3.
Carolina Caminoli, a fifth year competing as an individual, posted a 71 in the final round, while freshman Manassanan Chotikabhukkana shot 2-over. The duo finished tied for 52nd place at +2.
Junior Vanessa Gilly logged a 78 in the third round to conclude the tournament tied for 68th place at +6.
