Quail Valley Collegiate Final Results
VERO BEACH, Fla. – The Penn State men’s golf team completed its final tournament of the fall season Monday as the Nittany Lions finished tied for 12th at the Quail Valley Collegiate.
Penn State shot its best round of the tournament Monday, firing a 7-under, 281, to finish the 54-hole event tied for 12th at 19-under, 845.
Sophomore Jake Griffin led the Nittany Lions with his second top-10 finish of the fall season, finishing tied for seventh at 10-under, 206. He shot a 4-under, 68, to move up six spots in Monday’s final round.
Junior James Allen fired a 3-under, 69, Monday to finish tied for 29th at 6-under, 210. Senior Patrick Sheehan finished just behind at 5-under, 211, to place tied for 37th.
Freshman Billy Pabst Jr. placed 79th at 6-over, 222. Sophomore Morgan Lofland finished at 12-over, 228, to place 82nd.
The Nittany Lions have now completed their fall season and will open the spring slate in early February. Penn State’s spring schedule will be announced later this fall.
