BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The University of Louisville women’s golf team will finish out their fall season as they co-host the Olde Stone Intercollegiate with Western Kentucky on Oct. 24-25.
The Cardinals will face a field of 13 total teams including eight top-100 teams in the nation, ranked by Golfstat. Four Cardinals will also be participating as individuals.
Sophomore Carmen Griffiths continues to excel on the course after finishing in a tie for sixth at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Classic last week. She recorded the first ace of her career in the second round on the 14th hole and led the Cardinals to the best finish so far this season at fifth. Griffiths also moved up to 34th in the most recent GolfStat women’s golf individual rankings.
After this tournament, the Cardinals will not play again until Feb. 19 when they host the Moon Golf Invitational in Melbourne, Fla.
