Xin (Cindy) Kou posted a career-best-tying 67 while sophomore Amari Avery (T13 -1) and junior Brianna Navarrosa (T18 E) led USC overall on the final day of the Stanford Intercollegiate on Sunday (Oct. 23).

USC finished seventh at a combined 8-over 860 (284-289-287) in the 18-team event. Host and top-ranked Stanford won at 15-under.

Kou’s 67 was her first round in the 60s this year — and first under par — and the eighth of her career. She tied for 22nd overall at 1-over.

Avery tied for 13th at 1-under, her third top 15 this season, while Navarrosa broke into the top 20 for the third time with a tie for 18th at par.

Freshman Catherine Park tied for 62nd at 9-over while junior Christine Wang was 97th at 23-over.
