Ohio State Ties For Seventh At Jim West Challenge – Ohio State Buckeyes

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Buckeyes played their final round of the fall season on Monday, wrapping up the Jim West Challenge. The team finished tied for seventh place with a 54-hole score of 869 (+5).

Caley McGinty fired her best score of the tournament, a 70 (-2), in the final round to finish with a total score of 215 (-1). She placed tied for 17th.

Faith Choi carded a 71 (-1) in the third round and finished the Jim West Challenge tied for 21st place. She shot 217 (+1) over three rounds.

Lauren Peter shot her lowest round of the tournament, firing a 70 (-2) in the final round. She carded a total score of 218 (+2) and finished tied for 26th.

Kary Hollenbaugh finished with a score of 222 (+6) after carding a 73 (+1) in the final round. She tied for 38th place.

Kailie Vongsaga moved up 13 spots in the standings to finish tied for 60th. She shaved 12 strokes off her second-round score, carding a 70 (-2) in the final round for a total score of 227 (+11).

The Buckeyes begin their spring season Feb. 12-14 when they host the Therese Hession Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.
