Alabama Concludes Fall Season at the Landfall Tradition


TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women’s golf team is set to close its fall campaign this weekend at the three-day, par 72, 6,150-yard Country Club of Landfall ­– Dye Course in Wilmington, NC. The 18-team event will take place Friday through Sunday, Oct. 28-30.

The Crimson Tide will tee off in the three-day, 54-hole event Friday morning from 8:15 a.m. CT through 8:51 a.m. CT.

The Lineup

  • The Tide’s lineup includes Kynadie Adams, Sarah Edwards, Benedetta Moresco, Isabella van der Biest and Taylor Kehoe
  • Freshman Kynadie Adams leads the Tide in overall stroke average (72.50) and average vs. par (+0.50), along with Moresco (73.08, +1.08) and Edwards (73.83, +1.83)
  • Kehoe is the reigning SEC Freshman after leading the Tide to a fourth-place finish at The Ally and career-best finish of tied for fifth overall with a 54-hole total of 1-over par 217 (72-74-71)

    • Not only was this finish a career-best, Kehoe also made personal-best scores for 18 holes (71), 36 holes (146) and 54 holes at this event                                                                                                             

Tournament Preview

  • The teams will compete in a five-count-four, stroke-play format
  • The Tide will be grouped with Florida State and UNC, teeing off the first of three rounds Friday morning beginning at 8:15 a.m. CT
  • The Landfall Tradition features an 18-team field that five teams in ranked in the nation’s top-20, according to Golfstat.com
  • No. 39 Alabama will be joined by No. 2 Wake Forest, No. 4 South Carolina, No. 9 San Jose State, No. 11 Duke, No. 18 Florida State, Central Florida, North Carolina, Michigan, Tennessee, Michigan State, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Purdue, NC State, Furman and UNCW
