Junkkari's 67 Leads UNC At Landfall Tradition

Tar Heel senior Krista Junkkari made seven birdies en route to a season-low 67 in the opening round of the Landfall Tradition Friday on the Dye Course at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington.

Carolina shot 4-over 292 to tie for ninth place in the 16-team field. San Jose State leads at 10-under 278, Wake Forest is second at 9 under and Florida State is third at 7 under.
