Tigers Finish Sixth in Battle at the Beach – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

Ten Programs Set APR Records; Fourteen Earn Perfect Single-Year Scores – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico – Clemson turned in its best round of the weekend, a 280 (-4), to finish sixth in the Battle at the Beach, held at Club Campestre San Jose in San Jose del Cabo, BCS, Mexico. LSU won the three-day event with a tournament-record -14 (838).

Annabelle Pancake tallied her best round of the weekend on Sunday, shooting a 68 (-3) to finish the weekend at +3 and tie for 23rd. Chloe Holder led the Tigers over the weekend, shooting 71, 72, and 70 to finish at even and tie for 17th.

Savannah Grewal was the third Tiger to finish under par on Sunday, shooting her best round of the weekend, a 69 (-2) to finish +3 and tie for 23rd with Pancake. After shooting a 68 on Saturday, Melena Barrientos shot 73 on Sunday (+2) to finish +4 and tie for 29th. In her first collegiate tournament, Isabella Rawl finished at +9.

As an individual, Katherine Schuster finished at +18, turning in her best round of the weekend on Sunday (74).

The Tigers finish the fall season with top-10 finishes in all five tournaments, the best coming in the opening weekend at the Cougar Classic. Clemson returns to the course in February, opening the spring half of the schedule February 19 at the Moon Golf Invitational in Melbourne, Fla.
