NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt Athletics finished with an overall graduation success rate of 97 during the 2021–22 academic year—the highest of any Southeastern Conference program for the seventh straight year—the NCAA announced. Vanderbilt’s football program tied for the lead in the SEC with Florida with a GSR of 96 and ranked tied for second nationally among programs affiliated with a Power 5 conference.

The 10 Commodore programs with perfect scores included men’s cross country, men’s tennis, men’s basketball, men’s golf, women’s basketball, bowling, women’s golf, lacrosse, soccer and women’s tennis.

For NCAA purposes, Vanderbilt women’s cross country and track and field are combined in GSR measuring, and that program finished with a score of 95. The swimming program recorded a 94.

Vanderbilt posted a 3.299 grade-point average this past spring semester. With its 3.248 cumulative grade-point average for the 2021–22 athletic season, Vanderbilt exceeded a 3.0 grade-point average for the 16th straight year.
